I really like these, Sveta, including how you've styled them - one of my favorite "boyfriend" posts here on YLF (I am hot and cold on this trend!).

KILLER. I hereby crown you Queen Boyfriend!
#1 and #2 are sublime!

WOW! These are spectacular on you!!!
Best BF jeans I've seen yet :) Amazing...geeze, I think I might need some smelling salts or something.
PS - editing to add: I was so impressed with how gorgeous these jeans looked on you that I immediately rushed on over to Nordstrom to add them to my shopping cart/wish list (which is getting a wee bit insane lately). Did you just order your regular size and they turned out to be nicely slouchy while still fitting you beautifully? Or did you happen to size up or down? I never quite know with KUT jeans, most of the time, it seems like I can size down a wee bit, but then - probably don't want to do that for BF jeans. Did you just get your usual Kut size? Thanks for any information you can provide on the sizing....so FAB on you...WOW.

Whew, I was not off the mark then today - what a relief!
Angie, honestly, I did not expect to be crowned on my first attempt...BTW, I got them with Jonesy's endorsement :-)
Angie, do you have any preference for the length in pic 1? I cannot make up my mind here. Also - does it make sense to keep the length so I can wear them like in pic 3? Honestly I like them less longer in pic 3 than in pic 1 but 3 days ago I was not sure I can wear them at all... You know how hard it is for me to find the long enough jeans - should I keep the length and stick with thicker roll or just chop it off?
-
Diana replied 11 years ago
Wow, Sveta, your new boyfriend is HOT! This is a great look for you. I like the length you chose (right side of #1); like I said in my thread yesterday, I think I prefer my BF jeans just a little bit longer than my clams because I think it goes with the slouchy vibe better. I don't think I would chop them, since it would be nice to have the longer option as well - might work well with some heeled or platform boots.
BTW, I wanted to wear mine with my new white blazer too but it's just too hot...

fern replied 11 years ago
I love #1 right side. You look amazing, like you are ready to take on anything.
-
cjh replied 11 years ago
The length on the right looks right to me. Great jeans, and they look fab on you, along with the white jacket.

Amy replied 11 years ago
Holy moly, Sveta, do you know how to rock those boyfriends or what?
-
GGB replied 11 years ago
Awesome on you, Sveta! Please tell me -- did you size up in the jeans? If so, how much?
-
Scarlet replied 11 years ago
I really like them rolled up in 1 and 2. That blazer looks fantastic! Love the whole outfit.
-
Sveta replied 11 years ago
Diana, thankfully it cooled down a bit - to 28C - so I could wear my new blazer today.
GGB, I sized up1 size from my regular size.
So it looks like the lower roll in pic1 on the right is endorsed so I don't need to chop off some length from the jeans! :-)
Thank you for your help on this one - I really appreciate it.

These are great on you Sveta! So glad you found a BF ;) They didn't work at all on me, I tried! Just goes to show, we all have to keep looking - there is a match out there for us lol.

CocoLion replied 11 years ago
Fantastic! I like this look best the way you have it in the left hand side picture in photos 1+2 (they are the same, right)? I think the length is just right and I like the semi tuck, with just a hint of belt.
Wearing the heeled black peep-toe pumps is an interesting mix of casual and dressy. You are giving me ideas! I think you could also pull off nude, black or red* sandals with this look (or even flats, you have the height!).
Great jacket too, lucky you for finding it, I love the fit on you.
* or cobalt or pink, really any pop of color color

BRILLIANT!!! These are the perfect summer jean, Sveta! You look amazing. I like the length in 1/2 best with the semi-tuck.

You are rocking these. What a fresh look.

Deborah replied 11 years ago
Sveta, you are rocking these BF jeans. I think #1 looks to be the best length and that is a perfect white jacket for you. Just gorgeous.
-
Jjsloane replied 11 years ago
You totally rock this look! Taking notes - love the white jacket with the stripes.
-
DeclawedJaguar replied 11 years ago
Love the jeans and the jacket! My build is similar to yours and finding a well-fitting jacket is my second most difficult challenge after finding a well-fitting pair of jeans. Kudos on finding jackets that look like they were tailor-made for you.

That is how to wear boyfriend jeans in a totally grown up way- Brava!

Sveta, I will admit here that I have not liked the BF jeans on very many, but on you here they look great. Love these on you! Flattering, loose fitting, rolled jeans that don't remind me at all of The Farmer in The Dell. You look really chic and stylish!

Ack! Love these on you Sveta - especially #1/#2. Now I have to try mine with heels too - it looks fabulous. And your new white blazer is gorgeous. This look totally ROCKS!!!

Lisa replied 11 years ago
I like the rolled length in #1 best. These jeans fit great on you both front and back views. I adore my BF jeans because they are really comfy. I like the white blazer too. I only dry clean my whtie blazers once a season before storing them. Otherwise I spot treat when needed. I use febreeze spray if they need some "freshening up."

And what a fabulous boyfriend this is!-) These jeans look stunning on you, Sveta. I love them best rolled up, and this outfit with the striped top, white blazer and studded belt is just fantastic.

Yay!! Love these on you! They look awesome! I like 1 and 2 best too. That's how I wore mine though I think you have longer legs =)

I have not worn KUT jeans before but I am now a huge fan. They are so comfortable! Yours appear to be a lighter wash than mine. I would have loved the lighter ones too. I don't know if they didn't have them in plus or if they just sold out =( I'm going to be stalking ebay now.
-
MNsara replied 11 years ago
Sveta - these look fantabulous!! I am loving the change up they bring to outfits ;-) How handy, too, that Jonesy was there to give reassurance, cuz it seems like BF fits are slightly tricky.
-
Beth Ann replied 11 years ago
Well, I had to go to page 2 to post! You are that fab! I made this a favorite, Sveta, for my own boyfriend hunt. Unfortunately, I simply can't take jeans in this heat! I actually like the unrolled look --- I think it might have a place with booties for fall. You are setting the bar for trouser fit! You're myinspiration!
-
rae replied 11 years ago
YES! I just ordered two washes to try. I am going to look back on this for inspiration when they arrive.

Aida replied 11 years ago
Sveta I don't have words to describe how awesome these pants look on you!! I'm one of the few who isn't jumping on the BF jean bandwagon (weird maybe, they seem like me? I already have BF flared jeans...) but uhhhhh I sure do want a pair that look like this :o The light wash makes it for me, and #1/2 is just how I would wear them. PERFECT!
-
Sveta replied 11 years ago
Wow, honestly I did not expect such enthusiastic reaction for this outfit. I thought it looks OK but nothing like this. Thank you for raising my confidence in handling my new boyfriend!:-)
The weird thing is that this was the one and only pair of BF jeans I ever tried on. I just did not feel very inspired with this trend and could not imagine myself in them. Then when I was placing NAS order and looking for straight jeans these caught my eye and I decided to order them just for fun together with other stuff. After reading all threads here on this trend I decided to go up 1 size and see what happens. Well, love from the first sight - this is what happened and it surprised me to no end. I am really looking forward to building more outfits with them. So far I accidentally hit one formula that works - long blazer, semi-tuck top with the belt and heels. I hope there are more of them out there to discover!
Aida, I am surprised: this trend does seem like you. Is there a specific reason why?
-
Aida replied 11 years ago
Sveta it surprises me too, to be honest! I think it's because I have, erhm, for lack of a better way to put it "a lot of butt". It's very round and starts pretty high so if pants are properly loose enough around my bum for the BF look, there is just SO MUCH extra fabric that it feels like it completely swamps me. I think I would feel more comfortable in a slimmer pair, but then it loses some of the cool factor you know? I need to get out and try some but for now I don't have my heart set on this look. Now, cream wool midi-length wide culottes? That makes my heart flutter :)
EDIT: Also hubby hates my BF flares, so I have a feeling he'll like this type even less :\
-
goldenpig replied 11 years ago
OK, Sveta, you look so fabulous in these that I may have to overcome my anti-BF prejudice and actually try a pair for myself! Angie is right, you are Queen Boyfriend! And that white blazer is so hot on you! Paired with the BF jeans and heels, you are too chic for words!

Sveta I absolutely love this look on you. I would have thought before seeing it that the ladylike other pieces were a dichotomy but so not on you!
Melanie Lyn used to be a favourite store, perhaps I should go and revisit it. That blazer and top are stunning on you.
