Missey replied 11 years agoCan't they be cool and loud? In the best way :)

marianna replied 11 years agoI pondered these for myself too... and ultimately decided they're a bit too much.

Sveta replied 11 years agoMarianna, have you tried them on?

DonnaF replied 11 years agoI passed on to DD for comfort reasons a pair of calf hair DV booties with a similar pattern and vibe. The strong pattern takes some outfits up a notch or two, but is horrible meh with others. Soft colors and gray don't work terribly well, but of course strong graphics and vibrant colors are great.

Ariadne replied 11 years agoI think they're super cool.

Joy replied 11 years agoThey look worth a try. I like the bit of color on them.

catgirl replied 11 years agoThey are cool but I feel they are a little much. Then again, you have much more height than me and probably would not be overwhelmed by them as I might.
-
rae replied 11 years agoI would much prefer them without the red details. The zebra calf hair alone would have been super cool!

deb replied 11 years agoThese would be so cool with a black tux.

CocoLion replied 11 years agoI could see them with white jeans/pants, even a white skirt. Or black jeans/pants/skirt. You definitely have the height to pull off a statement flat like this.
In my experience, shoes like these are fun but hard to style. I have some white and black hair calf spotted wedge oxfords that remind me of these. I do wear them, but not much. When I do, they make a big statement and people will stop to comment. -
Caro in Oz replied 11 years agoIt depends on how many other shoes you have. I can see them really lifting a really simple outfit.

Ornella replied 11 years agoCool.

Jjsloane replied 11 years agoKinda cool, but I agree that the red stripe on the sole might be a tad over the top. I can't find a good fit with Sperry's myself. I'm like a 10 1/4 and they don't even make many in 10.5 and I find them a tad narrow. Sad because I'd love some boat shoes.

Ingunn replied 11 years agoI think they are very cool, but I wouldn't have worn them myself because I need something calmer to not feel overwhelmed. You, on the other hand, have the height and a strong, stylish appearance that could support this look.

Deborah replied 11 years agoYour replying agree they are worth trying. You have the height which I think "balances" such a statement piece. I could see them working with neutral outfits very well.
-
Suz replied 11 years agoBoth!!
I think they'd be too much for some people and not for others. Sveta, you have the drama to pull them off -- if you can imagine styling them. If you can, I say go for it! They look really comfortable. I would even try them myself and I am much shorter than you. But I'm holding out for a spectator style instead. -
Sveta replied 11 years agoThanks for your opinions, ladies. I think I am not sure if they will fit into my style - hence the question. If I have the opportunity to order them I may try them - just for fun.
