A quick post to say "thank you" once more for an awesome birthday thread and to post my birthday outfit.
Worn this evening to a dinner at the restaurant and a theater performance of Shrek The Musical in the local theater (big fun like MsMary says :-) )
Sequin tunic layered under my newly consigned LOOONG BCBG jacket with white jeans and cognac booties.

Gorgeous-- I am so in love with white jeans and you have inspired me to add them to my closet this winter. I have never worn them in the winter months--I love the look on you.I have promised myself to buy a non-black winter coat and I have been searching for either a beautiful blue (just like what you have here) or white (which I know will be tricky to keep looking clean). So far not much luck coat shopping--the store seems to only have very small sizes or very large sizes left. Happy Birthday...!

You look absolutely breathtaking Sveta! One look at this and I could be clamoring to wear black with my white jeans again. I love the cognac booties with this, such a refreshing look to add a third neutral into the mix. The blue coat is just so perfect over top. I hope you had a fabulous night!

I am not a big consignment shopper (last time I shopped there 2 years ago) but I guess I got lucky this time with this BCBG jacket.
darla, before Angie opened my eye I would never wear white jeans AT ALL - not just in winter. Now I cannot imagine I I lived without them before. Good luck with the coat shopping - try NAS next year, they usually have good selection of colorful coats.
