Sveta, your posts are a highlight of my week, so although I am very sorry to hear that work is so exhausting and miss you like crazy on the forum, I am more than willing to forgive you...as long as you keep posting WIWs!!!!
I don't know which of these I love most. #1 with the combat boots, the scarf and the belt just makes me want to shout K^K!!!! (Remind me what those boots are again, please?) #3 is so elegant. I can imagine IRL there is a bit of textural effect going on there, too. #4 is gorgeous on you - that denm blue is stunning on you - really. And #6 is a complete and total winner!!! I just adore that. The contrast between the soft ladylike blouse and the rugged jeans.
Okay - I leave the field for other raves.
BTW, for someone with a small, carefully curated closet, you reveal pieces all the time that I don't remember. I don't remember the jacket in #2, for instance. Why? I am sure I have seen it before. You just have a knack for remixing so that the pieces seem new and fresh again. It's a true gift.

What a lovely week! They are all great, but I really like#1. so chic and then the unexpected boots!

Suz, these combat boots are Steve Madden from last year NAS. They are similar to those but with plainer lining:

The jacket in #2 is an emerald green riding jacket my mom made for me last spring and I am sure you have seen it in my posts before. The light was really fading (8PM) and I guess the color did not come out well :-0 Here it is from the old WIW and better light

Hey, Sveta - I love to see those final summery items on you. Here we seem to have turned the corner to fall this week and I feel the same as you - bring it on. Hope you can rest this weekend and get your energy back.

I esp. love 3,4 and 6 but these are all so great. Another one who truly looks forward to your WIW posts.

Thanks, Sveta, I enjoyed that. :o)
#1 is incredible. This is what the woman wears for lugging pots. Unreal.
#3 is also fun, and the red shoes were the perfect, um, crowning touch. Well, you know what I mean.
I enjoy wearing men's shirts too, to the point I've actually considered just out and out buying them for myself. No beautiful but pesky empire (um, I meant princess. Brain fart) seams to deal with...
Too funny about your son's sunglasses. One of my sons has sunglasses that look great on me (even he agrees). He's safe though, I need prescription glasses.
No misses in here at all, just great and really great.

I love every single one of these outfits - they're chic, they're simple, they're modern. I really learn a lot about styling from you, Sveta. Thank you for always posting such great outfits; it's so inspiring!

Thanks for the nice comments, ladies!
Laura, it is kind of sad that summer s over but fall is beautiful and I like it a lot. The only problem with fall that it brings winter...
JR, actually I have already tried to buy men's shirts to get the length. No go - if they fit my shoulders they are too snug on the hips In this one in pic 5 my mom made rounded hem which allowed for the hips...:-(

Sorry work is so crazy for you Sveta - it can definitely wear a person down, can't it? don't pressure yourself to post if you're not up to it - even though we all LOVE to see Sveta's outfits!
You know I love everything you wear, right? but #1 may be an all time favourite. The mix with the scarf, striped top and animal print belt is absolutely brilliant - and then you throw in those combat boots and BAM! Outfit perfection personified.
#2, #3 and #5 are positively CHIC! and that gorgeous blue blouse in #6 is amazing on you.

I think #1 is so stylishly chic and casual. I love it. I also think the BW skirt outfit is a knock-out. I get great ideas for outfits from your posts too. I am sorry to hear work is getting you down. It is hard to remember we work to live and not the other way around when it is consuming us on a regular basis. Hang in there and then take a grand vacation.

Love outfit 3, and I agree with JR that the shoes really make the outfit shine. I love the last outfit as well. Blue and white just look so good together.
Sorry work is still hectic for you. Hope it gets better!

So many great outfits! My favorites are #4 and 6, but only by a slight margin.

Hard work must agree with you because you look amazingly put together everyday. Just love your style! Taking notes for the booties. Love the white jeans paired up with those. And the color combo in 1 I found to be extra striking but all the outfits are killer in my book.

1, 3 and 5 are tops! Love those outfits. And I agree, summer dressing is not exciting me anymore either.

I am feeling 'over' cold weather dressing here in Aus.
More so when I see your FAB warm weather outfits, Sveta.
That denim shirt combo. in # 4 is my favourite this week, but it is all very stylish indeed.

Even if you are overwhelmed and tired, you look splendid, and your style is not the least affected!
Pic 1: you must have been the hippest, coolest person in the nursery! Scarf: what a fantastic idea.
Pic 2: Yay for white trousers in the fall! Do you have caramel or tan boots? I can see those with chocolate sweater. The way you have styled it here, with the green jacket, is pure genius.
Pic 3: Love the shoes! Perfect with the black and white.
Pic 4: Pure Sveta. This might be my favourite. So easy, so so stylish. Just the right shade of denim; the multiple necklaces; the tough chic belt... and the fact that the shoes blend in, bringing attention to the top.
Pic 5: My least favourite. Something in the shirt's stripes, maybe.
Pic 6: That's more like it! Fresh and crisp! I love the brightness of this outfit.

You always look so cool, Sveta! *girl crush*
My favorites are 1,2, and 6.
Of course the sunglasses are better on you! ; )

I am so glad my combat boots with BF jeans have YLF approval. Now I have plans for the them for the next weekend...
Krish, this striped shirt does not photograph well for some reason but I also feel the fabric is not crisp enough for me. I think it is going to be demoted to the very casual wear.
Thanks for your compassion on my crazy work. It has been a killer for sure (and not in YLF way). However I am making the next weekend a very long one (4 days) and we are going to Prince Edward County with my hubby to do some beach walking, bird watching, wine tasting, art tour browsing and music festival attending. I cannot wait for that weekend to come!

Two and three are my favorites--- I love the column of color affect you've subtly created with light neutrals.

I really love the looks with the white trousers - tres chic. I think I have a top in the same print as that black and white skirt. Good luck with work and all!

These are all great but I so love #1. Those boots are awesome and you are rocking those aviators. :)
