WIW - from cold spring to summer in one week!

Remember I wore my Gap chunky sweater last week  because it was 0C in the morning? Well this week we jumped right into 22+C weather which of course created  a dressing crisis for me. I still have to pull out my summer stuff from the storage and get it ironed / steamed before I can wear anything so it was a challenge week: how to dress for summer with cool weather clothes?
And again - white worn every day!
pic 1
It was still cool that day so I could wear me white leather jacket - maybe the last time before the fall?
White leather jacket - Danier
B/W striped shirt - Suzy Shier
Black  Martin trousers - BR
SE python booties

The heat wave began! I greeted it with my blinding yellow jacket! I especially liked hot it matched the flowers in my kitchen :-)
yellow pique jacket - Gap
white shirt - Tahari
light wash BF jeans - Kut
grey textured low wedges - Trotters

Debut of my floral sheath. I would love to wear it with white leather jacket but it was too hot so I went with denim
Floral sheath - LongTall Sally
White denim jacket - ON
Nude Fidji pumps

Another debut - my new white BF jeans. I know some have Christmas association with red and green and don't wear it but I like it when colors speak to me. See my avatar - red flower and deep greenery: isn't it beautiful? :-)
White BF jeans - Kut
Striped tee - The Bay
Trouve grey oxfords
Emerald riding jacket - my mom
Red Chromia bag - Winners

I will be scarce online this weekend as we are going  to a birthday party tonight and plan to do a day trip to see waterfalls tomorrow so I apologize in advance if I take longer to comment.
Have a great weekend!!!

Fab outfits Sveta, I am liking the relaxed fits you've got going here. More easy elegance. Really like the dark cami in #1, it's a totally different effect than a light one and adds even more visual interest to an already interesting outfit. VERY cool detail. #2 is an appropriately cheerful hello to the heat, and totally bonus points for matching your flowers ^^ You look super in that blinding yellow, which in turn looks super with the white and light denim. LOVE your new sheath in #3. I'm a sucker for painterly prints, and this one is lovely. I also quite like the soft colors against the darker background. It's a bit unexpected, and if the dress fabrication is up for it, I think that makes it a multi-season dress. You've got so many topper/accessory color options since you can pull lots of colors from the dress, so versatile. And #4 is in no way xmasy to me. It looks nautical, bright, and crisp. Love it!

You can do no wrong in my style eyes :)

ALWAYS just perfect, Sveta. Loooooooooove your style!!! You have it down, sister.

I love the new white BF jeans! (I've worn mine three times this week). I like the red with the green as much as you do.

And so fun to see you in a floral frock again!

    Have a super weekend. xo

Love all these looks!  My favorites are 2 and 4.  Girl knows how to rock a BF jean.
  • Suz replied 10 years ago
Love every one of these outfits, Sveta! I'm of course drooling over #1 and only need a striped blouse to copy you. But, as you say, perhaps the leather jackets will have to go into the closets for a while now, alas...

The new dress is so pretty on you. How great to have something fresh like that to pull out of the closet!

Love 1, 2 and 4!  I am curious to try those white bf jeans myself.

Love them all - YLF in a dress too:)

You look great! I also have to drag out y summer clothes and also the kids' clothes. I hope something fits them!

Just gorgeous, all of them! And the last outfit reads orange and teal to me, so no worry about Christmas associations. Hooray for beautiful warm weather.

Sveta, I always enjoy your outfits. I don't really know why but I think it is because there is always an element of softness or movement - the drape of a blouse or slacks, semi tuck over belt, popped collar, pattern in belts. I have always admired that striped blouse in #1 on you.

These are all such gorgeous outfits on you! Wow--you look fab every day. The yellow blazer outfit is especially stunning, but I can't really choose a favorite. I would like to have that white studded belt--when you're done with it, of course.

All great! You look terrific in white, including and especially the new bf jeans. I love the first black and white outfit and the new dress is gorgeous!

I think you have successfully styled your cold weather clothes for warm weather. Outfit number 1 is superb and has made me wonder if I can incorporate a shirt like that into my style. Outfit number 2 made me smile - that sunny yellow jacket is so lovely and did you realise it co-ordinates with the chrysanthemums on the counter top - I have the same flowers on my table.

I'm one of those who has the Christmas association, but this green doesn't look too Christmasy to me.

Stunning outfits Sveta. You are so consistently stylish

  • Beth Ann replied 10 years ago
Oooh!  #2 makes me particularly happy!  Love the lemon jello jacket with the pale denim.  I think you rose to the challenge, Sveta! These are all great.

Quickly signing in before we leave for our day trip to say thank you for the lovely comments.
Aida, I missed your detailed comments. Your note about black cami is very interesting but it was not a cool detail thought through: my white camis were in the wash so I decided to use the black one in hope to get away with it :-)
Angie, thanks! I did not realize you got the white BF jeans too, I like mine even more now! :-) Here is hoping to see a blog post with you wearing them...
Jenava, Caro, Ceit, Shevia, Liz, Deborah, Beth Ann - thanks!
Suz, it is very sad that our summer does not allow to wear leather jackets...
Denise, please join the club of white BF jeans!
Claire, this green does not photograph well - it is bright emerald green, not a teal and the bag is bright tomato red :-)
pil, my Kibble type was "soft dramatic" and I do feel the best when my outfits have both drama and softness in them.
Firecracker, sorry but there is no way I would part with this white belt! I have it for 6 years now and the white leather needs some cleaning but it is my favorite belt!
Kiwichick, I think a similar striped blouse will look great on you - and yes, the flowers were included into the picture for this very reason :-)

Sveta, you did superbly! You are not the only one in this position. I was struggling too! This year really was boots to sandals, poof! Overnight.

These outfit are so fresh and confident. My favourites are 2 and 4.
  • Jjsloane replied 10 years ago
These are all great, I can't pick a favorite (although 1 is out of this world and I love the yellow jacket and noticed the flowers right away). You have perfect for you BF jeans. This is always a tricky time of year to dress, but you've bridged the varying temps beautifully.

LOVE 1 and 3. Hm, I may need a white denim jacket.
  • Thistle replied 10 years ago
Ooooh, I like all all of these!  You really have your style honed, Sveta, and you look so chic!  Love #1 and 2 the best, but they are all fab!
  • Runcarla replied 10 years ago

Opening the pictures, they just kept getting better and better. Love your style, and covet your yellow jacket!

  • Day Vies replied 10 years ago

I adore them all and 1&2 are my favorites! You never disappoint!

  • Joy replied 10 years ago

Now I 'm feeling the need for one of Angie's crash helmets. These wonderful outfits leave one light headed, especially #4. Wow!

I adore them all and 1&2 are my favorites! You never disappoint!

Sveta, just WOW.  WOW. You just don't have any near-misses. Every, single outfit is a 10 for me.

I remember the pictures that you showed me of your trip to Washington DC pre-YLF. I just cannot believe that it is the same person.  It is as if you are aging in reverse and just getting hipper and cooler every year.
  • Lisa replied 10 years ago

Great week. I really like how you repeated the colors in outfit 3 for outfit 4. And that yellow blazer just screams spring and fun!
