WIW - for short work week and to meet Suz

I worked 2 days only this week after my vacation so not many outfits to share. the weather took the turn for real cold now so it is definitely fall - bridging-into-winter clothing now :-)
pic 1.
First outing of my cobalt trousers. I decided to wear them as they are until the snow comes and then taper the legs so they would not become orphans in winter. Alas - they are too short even for low heel Petty booties for at least 0.5 inch. I think I will taper them now and this way I would be able to enjoy them all winter long.
Cobalt trousers - BR
Only Mine Polka-dot sweater - NAS
Silver tote  - Danier
SE Python booties
London Fog purple trench
Studded white belt - Winners

Cold and rainy so I am bundling up.  I LOVE these plaid trousers, they alone kick my happiness factor off the charts. I am SOOO glad I got them!
Plaid trousers - BR
Navy hi-low t-neck - Club Monaco
Silver belt - discount store
Silver tote  - Danier
Black booties - Clarks
Red cape - Charles Gray London (NAS)

This is what I wore to meet S(o)L(ovely)S(uz) in Toronto today.
Yellow t-neck - BR
Leather jacket - Danier
Gold belt - CK (Winners)
Nicro-check trousers - Long Tall Sally
Vince Camuto leopard slippers - NAS

Hmm, I definitely need to wear some skirts and dresses next week...:-)

Thanks for looking and as usual comments and feedback are very much appreciated!

All these outfits are stunning on you, but the third one to meet Suz is just jaw-dropping gorgeous.  I love the touches of metallic in these and your smoking slippers in the third outfit are such a fun touch.

You are stunning! Love everything especially number 2.

Gorgeous, and I am so glad we are checked trouser twins!!

  • Day Vies replied 10 years ago

3 is too too fab for me. I LOVE it! 1 is a given because I love cobalt and dots and I just want to look as cool and poised as you in a coat. Marking as a favorite.

Wowza!  How do you do it again and again?  Your modern classic is so very flattering and interesting!  Love 'em all, and I'm so glad you're stretching out the vacation!

  • Neel replied 10 years ago

My absolute fav is pic 3 too!! But you look lovely in all 3!  The plaid trousers look so much fun!

  • LoveSarahDub replied 10 years ago

All of them look awesome, but that third outfit is KILLER! I LOVE gray and yellow! I never thought about pairing leopard with that combo, what an awesome idea! Love love love it!

Three amazing looks, Sveta! I couldn't possibly pick a favorite.  I love the cobalt plus graphic polka dots, adore the navy with the checked trousers (and that red cape! gah!), and especially swoon over the yellow and gray combination.  You have such impeccable style and carry it off with panache!!

Love all of them!  Tapering the trousers in #1 is such a great idea.  You are so clever to think of that.

  • Lyn D. replied 10 years ago

That red cape coat is so beautiful on you Sveta.
You are the perfect pant model too!

  • Karie replied 10 years ago

You look fantastic in all three, but #1 with the polka dot sweater and cobalt blue trousers is my favorite! Good idea to taper them now.

  • Suz replied 10 years ago

You look fantastic in all three outfits! I loved the way your leopard shoes bookended with your mustard top in #3. Fabulous. And you are really making me want to order those BR pants. I might just have to pull the trigger....especially after my suit experiments yesterday. Hmmm.

  • kkards replied 10 years ago

so wishing  i had gotten that polka dot sweater during NAS. each of these outfits is great, but #1 is my fav!

  • Runcarla replied 10 years ago

You rock the primaries! Hard to pick a favourite out of this consistent daily fabness. So glad you got the cobalt trousers.

  • Tanya replied 10 years ago

All these outfits are gorgeous, and I especially love #1.  Also wish I got that sweater during NAS.

  • Sveta replied 10 years ago

Thank you all for the lovely comments!
Ceit, high five to my plaid trouser twin! Aren't they fun?
I am really surprised by all the love for #3 because I really dressed in a hurry that morning because I was running late for my meeting with Suz. I guess it is one of my FFBO formulas :-)
Suz, just get those plaid pants if BR still has them in your size. We will be triplets with Ceit!
kkards and Tanya, I was looking for a polka dot sweater for a long time and I am glad I snatched this one at NAS!

  • Jan replied 10 years ago

I love #3. And the way you semi tuck your tops!

  • Vickie KY replied 10 years ago

Just why do you need to taper the cobalt pants? They look great to me. I love each outfit and your mix of accessories. Vickie

Very good outfits. Well done. I especially like the polka dot sweater and the animal print shoes. Lovely.

Wow - all three are really stunning.

  • Angie replied 10 years ago

*waving to my polka dot twin*

    (isn't that jumper fun?)

Totally loving the cobalt matched with burgundy, you adventurous pattern mixer.

#2 is absolutely killer. No one wears a cape coat like you do. And I get how checks and tartans make you happy. Me too.

And #3 is earthy fabness. xo

Vickie, these cobalt trousers are heavier weight wool ideal for winter wear but our winters are very wet and snowy so I would not be able to wear trouser legs at the proper length or they would get soaking wet. I like the trouser leg but practicality wins - or I would have a pretty cobalt orphan on my hands.
Angie, polka dot sweater is too much fun - I wore it today again.  These plaid trousers do make me happy but cobalt tartan ones would make me even happier :-)

  • Marley replied 10 years ago

Love all of these - but, #2 just made me smile.  That red cape is perfect for you!

  • lynn replied 10 years ago

Your wardrobe is fabulous and with your stylish haircut and cheekbones, you are model worthy! Love looking at your outfits!
