WIW - and you call it summer?!

After the heat of the last week we were freezing here! It is so hard to dress summery for almost-early-spring temperatures... I did not feel like wearing dresses or skirts this week at all  because I would freeze with bare legs and all my nude hose needs replacement...so it was Pants week for me!

There is a silver lining to a colder weather in June  - this is an opportunity to wear my white leather jacket once more! I don't wear scarves very often now but I felt like wearing one that day. I was pretty happy how all colors played together here and hope the white jacket saved this outfit from looking too wintery.

I got these pink khaki trousers from Gap some time ago but this is the first time I am wearing them. Please be honest - how does it look?

I had quite a few debuts this week. This day was so cold I decided to wear a wool sweater - and leather jacket! As I was looking around for a sweater (I have already stored away some winter things) I thought that this Club Monaco boxy t-neck I received yesterday should work - so here it is its debut. I like this sweater, it is a great length to faux-tuck

I slept in that morning and I had 5 min to get dressed so I pulled out the first things catching my eye from the closet. Before I wore this jacket with faded denim and white and hope it was not a complete faux pas with a darker column of color.

Another debut - Gap denim biker jacket. Actually this outfit started with faded denim BF jeans and white blazer but I was not happy with colors together.Then I changed to white BF jeans and white blazer but it felt too formal for Friday so I exchanged white blazer for my new faded biker jacket and felt right. It is totally weird because it is a the same colors as in my original outfit but reversed; however I liked it much better.

Tonight our friend was graduating from an adult high school so we went to support her. I did not plan it and threw this outfit together literally in 5 min - hope it was not a disaster.

    I really like the 'pink' pant Sveta- the shape and warmth of the colour is great!
    Ditto for the pink in the first outfit- the Italian scarf is divine.

    Wow! The pink pants are lovely on you and your styling of them is perfect. All these outfits stand out, for all the right reasons, but #2 is special. I think you are the master of the semi/faux tuck. I really like the stronger lip colour on you in#3.

    Sveta, 4 and 5 made me jump up and down -- SO great. Love it.

    I think the pink works here how you styled them! Very grown up and interesting with the red.

    Who am I kidding, you look spectacular in all of these!

    You look fab in #2 and 4. The pink khakis look lovely paired with animal print blouse and black blazer. Very interesting juxtaposition. I am a huge fan of this yellow blazer. It makes every outfit so bright and sassy.

    I hear you on the weather - we also had blasting hot weather last week, then this week it was cold and rainy. Now we're getting the rainy weather coming from Canada plus the storm coming up the east coast :(

    Sveta, you look gorgeous in pants! I was all set to say #2 was my fav, then I saw #5 and gasped out loud! LOVE IT! I was just saying on another post that I have almost purchased those white Kut BF's several times - now I have to have them! How does the sizing run on them?

    I love the pink pants.  Saw them before I read your entire post and looked up to see what they were.  The way they fit and taper is perfection.  This is a great collection of outfits.  If I lived in Canada, I'd own that white Danier jacket also.  (Next trip...)   What a workhorse and it elevates a look so beautifully. Love number 4 also. YLF.

    Love #2 & #3 especially. The low contrast between the items really shows off your colouring and so your face looks lovely.

    Ack, I lost my post expanding on the beauty of each outfit but will try a recap and post it in stages so as not to lose everything
    There seems to be almost a uniform going on this week with a fabulous pair of slouchy trousers or jeans topped by a semi-tucked top and wonderful jacket, and punctuated by a bit of color or animal. It works well for you. Every outfit is a winner, but my favorites are 2 & 5.
    1. Your white leather jacket ups the fabness of everything it touches. Here it, along with your belt, brightens the murkier colors. I love the taupe booties with the taupe trousers and the pink scarf with taupe. The snake bag ...well I want one right now!
    2. This one has me swooning. The pale pink with leopard is so sublime. I appreciate the black belt to visually extend your torso, the below- the -ankle cuffing, and the choice of tuxedo jacket and deep red footwear. I tried to copy parts of this today and will try to get a photo. It will go to the Dragon Boat races and Greek Festival.
    3. Simple, elegant yet smart casual. Your new CM tee is fab on you and looks great styled here. The bit of animal keeps it interesting. Again, that wonderful bag
    4. I lo e the brightness of jacket and SE pythons with this. They dress up the outfit.
    5. The faded demin moto looks great on you and as styled here. Love the polkadots and leopard and bright bag..and black belt. I must remember that trick for proportion control.
    6. So fresh in white and blue, again the white jacket kicks it up. The banded top was a find!

    KILLER looks. All of them! So "Sveta", and a joy for me to behold. You are eye candy!  Loving the addition of the soft pinks and bright yellow :)

    You do a super job of looking Summery in cold weather - I am no stranger to that either.

    Well these types of outfits suit you well, but I hear ya on the crappy weather. 

    I absolutely adore #4, that yellow jacket is to die for on you.  #2 is also a real fav, but they all look like 10/10's!

    You look so effortlessly chic in all of these!  I am so impressed that you can achieve this level of style on a daily basis.  I especially love #3 and #4.  The jeans in #4 have the perfect small bootcut leg that I am on the hunt for now.  Oh I just checked again and they are Paige straight legged jeans.  Anyway, did you size up in these or did you get your usual size to achieve that kind of fit?

    You look great!  We have the same cold and wet weather this week.  It looks like this was a great opportunity for you to wear more of your fabulous jackets while still giving a nod to the summer with the lighter colors.  Great week!

    I hear you about the silver lining in being able to wear your white leather jacket - I'm actually missing mine now that our heat has hit.

    I'm in love with the rich colour palette of outfit #1 Sveta. That gorgeous burgundy with the white leather is just dreamy and then you add in the soft pink scarf and the soft taupe pants and the whole outfit is positively delicious!

    I'm also particularly in love with outfit #4 - the bright yellow blazer over the stripes is fab and don't those Petty booties go great with this! The fit of the jeans is fantastic on you.

    All the outfits are perfect (as usual) but just wanted to point out my love for #1 and #4 in particular :)

    You look so amazing in all of these. This is my favorite type of dressing - why I love spring and fall - I'm jealous as our temps are sneaking upward (while the office temps are getting more frigid). I simply cannot pick a favorite.

    I love them all! #3 is something I would wear in an instant even though I don't have the luxury of your height and I think #1 and #4 are not far behind. Love the gap jacket too, glad you kept!

    Our weather has also been bouncing around and it's been driving me batty.  Lighter colors in warmer fabrics is the perfect solution and that white leather jacket is such a great find for colder spring days.

    I am really enjoying your remixing of the yellow blazer.  I would not have considered it a versatile piece so it's nice to see how you remix it.

    I noticed you have a really fun footwear collection.  I know shoe shopping is a challenge but you have some great footwear in your wardrobe!

    All fantastic outfits on you Sveta - hard to pick favorites here but I really love that new faded moto on you and you look so amazing in a turtleneck but also in animal print and in cobalt.  These are all 10's to me.
