    You always look so lovely.

You look great -- I hope the work eases off a little soon!

I think I like the Cleo shirt unbuttoned. Looks breezier. Great match with the micro checks!

I really like 1 and 4--buttoned all the way looks more modern to me. I think the outfit in 2 works with the idea of slippers, but I am not sure about these particular ones. It might work but it is more of an cerebral/experimental combo than a no-brainer, if that makes sense. Like I have to come back later for a second look to figure out my thoughts.

These are great outfits. I also like 1 & 4 best. The python booties with striped top are a wonderful combination that I may have to try, although the booties are put away until fall.

    Great outfits again Sveta!

I think the gold slipper flats look fantastic with the flared skirt and I like the Cleo blouse unbuttoned - like Ceit I think it looks breezier and more summery.

You are hitting it out of the park with your outfits Sveta - love your style.

Sveta you look great (but you always do)!  I like all of these. I think the slipper flats look great with the flared skirt. I would be tempted to swap out the top on that outfit for a untextured, unpatterned, simple top (maybe a white top?) because there isn't a "quiet" element anywhere else in that outfit.  Of course, I tend toward minimal versus maximal, so take that for what it is worth.  With the buttoned up/unbuttoned top, I agree with Shannon and Ceit that it looks a-okay unbuttoned. Definitely worthwhile as an option to give you more wear out of the top. And can I just say that the acid wash jacket make me have to tell you how much I admire your early-adopter boldness?  You have such confidence and you always look great.  You boldly lead us forward!  And you look fantastic in that green jacket, which is what I started commenting to tell you in the first place!!!

Love #1 - I am going to have to try and copy that!  ANd I adore the black and white dress with the jean jacket.  That jacket is just gorgeous on you!  Thanks for taking the time to post, I love to see what you've cooked up in the closet.

  • Karie replied 10 years ago

I love all your outfits, but #2 is spectacular! That skirt is so pretty. You are a master of style!

  • bj1111 replied 10 years ago

love #1.  the polka dot lining of the sleeve is picked up by the studded belt which give a dotty element.  love these details.

i like the concept of #3, but the nude shoe is so close to youe skin color, it seems like you aren't wearing shoes  very disconcerting.  how about the slipper flat in #2?

love #2, i would pick a more structured shoe.  but then again, i am not a slipper shoe person.

  • Jaime replied 10 years ago

I love the black and white dress on you - that is my favorite. I think I like the blue top buttoned up. You look fab in every shot!

  • celia replied 10 years ago

    Great WIW's.
My favorite is #3, such a fab outfit.
I like the slipper flats with the skirt but I the combination of colors between shirt /skirt and jacket has something off to my eye.
The last outfit looks good in either way.

  • Suz replied 10 years ago

Thanks for posting when you are so busy, Sveta. I always love your fab outfits. My favourites here are #1 and #4/5 -- I like the top buttoned and unbuttoned. I agree with Celia that something in the colours feels off in #2, but the silhouette is great!

  • Angie replied 10 years ago

Your KILLER style never disappoints! You have honed your look with the best of them :)

    Cannot pick a fave!

  • Beth Ann replied 10 years ago

I can pick a fave, although I agree with Angie, that you are a master of style!  I love #1 particularly.  Such a modern silhouette and a happy color!

I think the slipper flats are working well.  Like K, I had an urge to swap out the brown turtleneck with a lighter topper, particularly with the denim jacket.

As for the blue blouse, I like the easy 70's vibe in the unbuttoned view!

    Great week, Sveta!

Sveta!  You beautiful woman you!  All great outfits!  Number 1 is the perfect color for you - which reminds me,  did you ever get your colors for your wardrobe sorted out?  I can't remember seeing the final conclusion of that thread!  Number 2 - love the silhouette - I'd trade out the top for a light/pale gray or cream/ivory to "lighten" up the outfit.  Also, didn't you get those slipper shoes in silver also???  If so, I'd try them with the silver once you get the top sorted out.  Number 3 - perfect - and I love the shoes that blend so well with your skin color that it makes your legs look like a mile long!  Number 4 - I like the shirt both ways - probably unbuttoned for casual easy-breezy times, and buttoned if you want to look more modern, structured, and dressy!  Thanks for posting - I love looking at your outfits!

  • Janet replied 10 years ago

You always look great! I like the unbuttoned version better, but that may be partly because I'm sitting outside under our fans in 89 degree weather, so I can't imagine having anything covering my neck right now!

  • Deborah replied 10 years ago

Sveta, you have such a beautifully honed style.  Each of these outfits is so lovely and so 'you'.

  • CocoLion replied 10 years ago

You need your own style blog Sveta.  I love the second and third outfits, they are original and that is about my highest compliment.  The first is perfectly, effortlessly chic.  As for the last outfit, I think I prefer it with the collar open which is my usual preference.

  • Lyn D. replied 10 years ago

LOVE the CK dress pic, and prefer the last shirt un-buttoned.

Thank you all for commenting. This weekend was a beast for me so I did not a chance to comment earlier.
I am surprised you liked #1 - when I looked at the picture I cringed even though I felt OK in that outfit during the day. I think it was the scarf even though I liked blue and green together...
Such a mixed response on #2! Some don't like the slippers, some don't like the top and others like it all...Talk about an unconventional outfit!:-) I think I will try it with a different top next time.
K, this acid wash jacket was bought by my 69 year old mom for herself! She gave it to me because the sleeves were too long on her. Honestly I am on the fence about the wash but I like in general how a light wash plays with summer stuff. The problem with this jacket is that sleeves and armholes are too wide so I am looking for a replacement with a better fit.
Marley, I am nowhere with the colors yet. Even though many of you said that I don't need that (including Angie) I still feel the need to get more organized in this department.
Again I am so sorry for commenting so late and so short, life just gets in the way! :-(

Great WIWs. My favourite are 1, 4 & 5. I like collar both ways in the last 2 pics. Very stylish & you remind me of Juliette Binoche. You are French too right?

  • Sveta replied 10 years ago

Elle, I am from Ukraine :-)

  • Mochi replied 10 years ago

You look beautiful. I really like 1 and 4-5.
