I blame Angie: Gap biker denim jacket arrived today! ETA: added pics with jeans

Have to run but want to get your advice: which Gap biker jacket to keep if any?
They are the same size but one is regular and another is Tall.

1,3,5 - Regular
2,4,6 - Tall

Sorry, my Photoshop was lost when our hard drive died and I did not have time to install it again: it would be easier to see them side by side

Sorry for the brevity of this post - have to run pick up my hubby!

Thanks a lot!

ETA: added pictures with jeans - I want to know if I can wear a shorter one with jeans as well as with skirts. Thoughts?

7,9- regular with jeans

8.10 - Tall with jeans

Squeeeeee!!! Love! It's a 10 all around. Prefer the regular size, especially since you are showing it with skirts. Super 80s fabness!

  • replied 7 years ago

I think I like regular too!

  • AJ replied 7 years ago

It seemed like the jacket got there fast!  I like the smaller, cropped size.

  • Angie replied 7 years ago

Regular for sure, and I take full responsibility for this really fun addidtion to your wardrobe, Sveta :)

    GO TEAM '80s!

Laura, you and I are next. Mine is on the way.

  • marianna replied 7 years ago

    I want one! :)

    Love the regular. SO perfect!

  • Echo replied 7 years ago

Regular size. You look great in it!

  • unfrumped replied 7 years ago

Reg! It's a great length with your skirts and still not  over- cropped--just right. It looks wonderful.

  • catgirl replied 7 years ago

I am overcoming my poison eye for this look to say you look great!  I don't WANT to have a poison eye for this, but light denim jackets are not my cuppa.  Still, I can see how well it works on you!

  • Sveta replied 7 years ago

Looks like regular is hand down winner here. I have added pictures with jeans as well - do you think regular can be worn with jeans as well? Not too short?
Laura and Angie, cannot wait to see it on you!
AJ, Gap's shipping is very fast. I ordered on Sunday night.
    Marianna, you need one!
Una, I did not realize you have a poison eye for light wash  - is it only jackets? I am sure I saw light wash jeasn on you...
    unfrumped, Echo, Ceit - thanks!

  • catgirl replied 7 years ago

Yes, it's jacket specific.  But I do love it on you!

  • Sona replied 7 years ago

what size did you get Sveta? my xl arrived today and two of me could have fitted in it. Back it went.

  • Sveta replied 7 years ago

Sona, I got L-  -my usual size for tops is between M and L. M was too snug in the sleeves and hips. However it is a looser fit through the body - just make sure shoulders fit well.

  • shevia replied 7 years ago

Wow, I see why Angie was so impressed. This looks great on you and unbelievable with white. (Agree with regular size.)

  • shedev replied 7 years ago

    Regular is great.

  • Suz replied 7 years ago

I really like it on you, Sveta! I prefer regular size for sure. Looks neater yet still has enough slouch to it.

  • Angie replied 7 years ago

I hope that my message was loud and clear.

  • Sveta replied 7 years ago

    Thank you all!
If regular size passes with jeans as well then it is a keeper!!!

Angie, your messages are always loud and clear. Aye - aye Captain!  :-)

  • Runcarla replied 7 years ago

Oh, Sveta! This series is amazing. So tomboy chic, yet so utterly feminine. If you ever decide you don't want that polka dot skirt....send it to me!

  • Transcona Shannon replied 7 years ago

SOOOOOOO PERFECT! Definitely keep and in the regular size. If I didn't already have a faded denim jacket, I'd be grabbing this baby.

  • Isabel replied 7 years ago

OMG Sveta !  It is so perfect for you.  Blame away.

  • Joy replied 7 years ago

The regular looks find with your white jeans.  this looks so perfect for you.

  • Eliza replied 7 years ago

What a great look on you. I love the way YLF expands the possibilities. Minus Angie's suggestion and your gorgeous group of outfits, I would never have guessed what powers lurked within that faded denim. Perfection, Sveta.

  • jenanded replied 7 years ago

yes regular sixw... and agree w Angie... love it with white denim... the polka dot skirt is really rocking too... v cute.

  • Jamie replied 7 years ago

This looks so amazing on you, Sveta!  Ok, I'm in - I need to get this for my wardrobe!

  • Isis replied 7 years ago

    Regular!  Love this look!

What jeans are those, Sveta?  And did you size up?

  • Lisa replied 7 years ago

I vote the regular.  I think the shorter style works well with jeans because you are doing the same trick with your jean outfits as with your skirt outfits.  You are tucking the shirt and belting which defines the waist just as tucking in the skirt does.  Great wardrobe addition here.

  • texstyle replied 7 years ago

This style and color is perfect for you Sveta  - I like the Reg. size too and you look fabulous in it.

  • Sveta replied 7 years ago

Tags are off and Tall size is packed to go back! :-) Thank you all for providing your opinion - and I think this is the first time I get such a united opinion: everybody voted regular! That definitely dismissed any doubts in my mind.
Eliza, this is YLF magic for sure!
Jamie, you should, go for it!
Isis, these are Kut Catherines one size up but right after the wash :-)
No if weather warms up enough to wear it...fingers crossed!
