Christmas Gala outfit - which accessories?

I got this lace top jumpsuit for my upcoming ballroom dance Christmas Gala - which is this coming Saturday. I think it looks better IRL than in the pictures. I also got this faux fur shrug as a topper for it  - something about its retro vibe really speaks to me.
Shoes are the only ones I can dance in - Fidji pumps dyed from nude to
platinum.
What I need an advice with is other accessories.
- Pearl necklace or statement earrings?
- black beaded clutch or modern b/w striped clutch?
Also this jumpsuit has a self-tie belt which I tied in a  bow on the back. Should I remove this self-belt altogether and get a belt instead - maybe even an embellished one? Something like this or this or this
Thanks a lot for your help - I cannot make up my mind!

Please excuse my awful look without any makeup - I promise it will be better for Saturday! :-)

Gosh Sveta..... You are a stunner! Both combinations look beautiful but after studying the photos, I think I like #3 just a tad more. Unbelted looks more than fine since you have the statement top, jacket and earrings.

What an elegant look for your gala! I like how the top of the jumpsuit plays with the platinum of the shoes. I prefer the statement earrings and the beaded clutch. They read more evening-wear to me. And I like the bow in back, as it gives your jumpsuit a cheeky nod to retro ballgown style. I also think belt 2 might be fun with those statement earrings!

Agreeing with Firecracker but they are all great looks :)

Statement earrings, beaded clutch, no need to get a replacement belt.

    You look amazing!

Statement earrings - the top is gorgeous on its own. Black beaded clutch - the other competes too much. Keep the tie belt, it looks modern retro fab, no embellished belts as this outfit is fab as is.

Statement earings, black beaded clutch and.....gosh! YL like a proffesional dancer and more than fab ever!!!!! Have fun!

Ditto, #3, the beaded clutch and the statement earrings. This is one amazing outfit, YLF.

Agreeing with the statement earrings and beaded clutch ... stunning!

Earrings and beaded clutch for the win, and you look STUNNING!!

The back tie belt is perfectly great as long as it will stay tied up for you!

I like #3 best. Gorgeous earrings. Have a great time at the dance, you elegant creature. xo

Great jumpsuit! I like the fun swing-y earrings the best. Have fun whatever you decide.

There is a saying in ballroom...no such thing as "over the top"!

So...the earrings. With one caveat...they should be super light or swinging your head around can really irritate your ears. One hour of dancing is worse than a full day of normal wear. And be sure you can dance without your arm or your partner's arm getting caught on them.

Love the jumpsuit, that looks perfect for dance!

Oh la la, very glamorous, Sveta, and that shrug is the perfect topper. You look beautiful and elegant as always. I too prefer the earrings (which are fab), because I think you have enough beautiful detail with the lace upper part in itself. My vote goes to the beaded clutch for this event as well. And I would keep the self belt too.

    Have a brilliant time!

The jumpsuit is fabulous. I really liked #1 and then #3... so #3 seems to be the consensus :)

    Plonk.

Agree to let the beautiful lace design have center stage. Earrings and beaded clutch.

Thank you - you are confirming where I was already leaning with the accessories - beaded clutch and earrings.
Peri, this is a greta advice. The earrings are superlight - my ears cannot stand anything heavy. But I need to try if they won't interfere with underarm turns - how clever of you, I have never thought about this! it is good we did not learn tango yet - that woud definitely involve too much head swinging for the earrings! :-)
Angie, you were very kind to avert your eyes from the pants length in this case - PPL just won't cut it on the dance floor, it would be a real tripping hazard! :-)

more excitement here for #3.  So elegant!

  • AJ replied 9 years ago

#3 for the win! (I would think a belt would shift around while you dance.)

You look glamorous! Have a great time!

Oh wow, you are a stunning lady! I gravitated more to the necklace than earrings only because I don't like ballroom dancing myself in long earrings, but I don't think you can go wrong here, all fab looks!
